RCT applies to payments made to Sub Contractors within the Construction, Meat and Forestry Trades. There are very specific procedures that a Contractor must adhere to in relation to such payments. These procedures commence prior to any contract being entered into. Revenue apply these procedures in a very strict manner and any errors or omissions can incur substantial penalties.
